What is ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels is a sales funnel builder that has a shopping cart, autoresponder, email service and an Affiliate Program.
ClickFunnels is one of the leading funnel software on the market. You can create funnels to generate leads, to generate sales and to even run events (like a webinar). It allows you embed your retargeting and tracking codes into the pages which provides you with all the analytics and reporting needed, so you can optimise the page to target the desired audience.
A great feature in ClickFunnels is that you can share your funnels that you have created. If you have a high converting funnel, you can share this with a friend, your email list or use this as a free opt-in offer to get leads and grow your email list.
ClickFunnels has a shopping cart where you can track sales generated from each sales page, has order forms, up-sells, down-sells and send follow up emails.
The shopping cart can be integrated to an external payment platform like Stripe or PayPal.
ClickFunnels has a Platinum plan which allows you to create, what they call Follow-Up Funnels.
This is where you can connect and/or reconnect with your audience anytime.

This applies to any other products that customer buys from ClickFunnels.
Another feature of Backpack is the two-tier affiliate commissions.
Tier 1 is when your affiliate generates a sale to their customer through their link, you pay the affiliate X% commission.
Tier 2 is when the affiliates customer who bought the offer, promotes the offer and gets a sale, the affiliate will again get a lesser commission (normally between 5-10%).

Who Can Benefit from Kartra?
Kartra is not for everyone, it really depends on what your business is. If you just need a Funnel Builder then this might not be what you are looking for, you may want to consider ClickFunnels who have fantastic pre-made funnels and training.
If you are in need or looking to replace a funnel building software, marketing software, email software, affiliate software then this would be the software your after.
Kartra is also for people who are finding it hard to scale their business without having to spend lots of money on developers, copywriters and/or programmers.
This software is for people who are tired of having different software across different companies with different logins on separate monthly subscriptions, that all have to be integrated with each other to work. Kartra is managed in one location with one dashboard and one monthly subscription.
Keep in mind that it may not always be wise to switch everything over to one platform. There are many businesses out there that may run their Funnels through ClickFunnels and everything else through Kartra.

With all my searching online, I found one person who didn’t find Kartra to live up to all its hype. They found the following;
“The support Kartra provides did not respond to several of their tickets they submitted and they found that if you integrated the system with your website that it slowed the page speed, and a slow loading page is not good for ranking in Google.”
Not bad for the amount of users that Kartra has.
Kartra Alternative
If you are looking at an alternative for Kartra, I believe the closest out there at the moment would be GrooveFunnels.

Final Thought
To be honest, I don’t use either of these products, but I did research them both to compare them to GrooveFunnels, which I do have, and have put my research findings into this review to save you time having to do all the research yourself.
Depending on where you are in your journey, both ClickFunnels and Kartra provide a software platform with everything you need to have a business online.
Which one you choose will be dependant on what type of business you have and your specific needs.
